Sacajawea Fanning has always had a passion to help people. Growing up in the small town of Washington, GA, she was first exposed to helping others at a young age by riding along with her grandpa who gave rides to senior citizens to the grocery store and to other areas where they could run errands. Her job was to make sure that she assisted them in any way possible from carrying their groceries to counting their money out when they were paying bills.
Sacajawea Fanning would go on to join the U.S. Air Force where she spent 8 years serving her country and began her financial management career. From the U.S. Air Force, she transitioned to federal government service, growing her financial management career to over 20 years, where she managed budgets of over $6 billion dollars. During her federal government career, she was selected to represent the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency as a Brookings Institute fellow on Capitol Hill for 1 year as well as being selected as a Sharon Parrish Leadership awardee.
Sacajawea would then take the leap of faith to start her own business, Fanning Financial Group, LLC, as an independent wealth coach and strategist in March of 2018 and has since protected and safeguarded approximately $6 million in client assets. As an independent wealth coach and strategist, she helps people with their budgets, recover from financial missteps, pay down debt, increase their savings, credit, and building a pathway to retirement.
She also has options where people don’t lose their retirement when the stock market goes down and where the bank can front-load 75% of her client’s retirement. Plus, she can show you how to potentially build a tax-free retirement structure.
Her mission is to help others achieve financial security and a piece of mind. Sacajawea has had the privilege to appear twice on ABC-WJLA giving financial advice as well as being a contributor to BAWSE MAG as well as a featured speaker at numerous engagements such as workshops, seminars, and webinars to include a guest panelist for Northern Virginia Association of Realtors’ First Time Homebuyers and “Just Don’t Call Me a Senior” panels as well as a guest on The Tammy Collins Markee Radio Show sponsored by Millionaires in Training plus educating federal government employees of their retirement benefits. Sacajawea is also a contributing host on the show “Let’s Do It” every second Monday for “Money Making Mondays” on Facebook Live on UBroadcast Media.
Sacajawea is a licensed life agent and certified in annuities.
